About Weirdough The Artisan Baker:

‘Weirdough’ is a micro bakery started in the lockdown by Pallavee Duggall - an alumnus of LSE. We believe that in a fast paced world, where everything is instant, the sourdough making process is all about slowing down, living in the moment, and waiting for the magic to happen.
Each loaf is handmade, unique, and behaves in its own weird way. Hence the name “weirdough”. Since we began in November 2020, we have rapidly developed a community of sourdough lovers consisting of people across all age groups and all over Mumbai. With a rapid growth in awareness for gut health, people are increasingly shifting to sourdough bread instead of consuming regularly yeasted bread!

About sourdough

Sourdough is a slowly fermented bread made with 3 simple ingredients Flour, Water and Salt . With time It’s far more nutritious then regular whole wheat bread . Our slow and long overnight fermentation of more then 36 hours pre digests the bacteria and breaks down the gluten in the bread ,so the finished loaf is much easier to digest the pre biotics in it also
keep your gut bacteria happier and less likely to spike your blood sugar level .
